1. The hare on the hill

I am here to greet you
At the dawn of time
Firmly rooted on the ground
I watch the new coming sound

My heart and eyes open
I follow the nights sky
Enchanted by the change
I understand the reasons why

Holding guard at the doorway
From dusk ‘till dawn
I watch the flowers open
I watch the new born fawn

Focus on your calling 
Focus on the light
The night is falling
The dawn is in sight

Turmoil and upheaval 
Just be aware
That all that is coming
Does not affect the hare

Vigilant and trust worth
His guidance will be
When you stop and listen
To rightly interpret what you see

This poem is inspired by John Matthews "The Circle of the Sidhe" .
