Greater Understanding

There is grief
There is pain
There are relationships
That don’t remain

There is anger
There is fear
There are moments
That the emptiness is near

There are mistakes to be made
There are questions to be asked
There is a bigger understanding 
About to be unmasked

With ever step we take
With every mountain we climb
There is a new perspective
There is a new timeline to unwind

Don’t forget about your sorrow
Don’t forget about your tears
There is a reason for their being
They are the clutch to change the gear

Understanding your inner sorrow
Brings the understanding of Love
Understanding your Love
Brings the understanding of tomorrow

There is a new path to be taken
There is a new way to be
There are connections to be mend
There are connections to free

With the stillness that is within our heart
With the clarity with which we can see
There will be a new way of living
There will be balance in taking and giving

As we move through our sorrow
As we move through our pain
There is a greater understanding of our being
There is a greater understanding of this plain

As we no longer wallow in our sorrow
As we are no longer feel wary and restrained
As we walk freely on the earth and with all other beings
There will be a greater understanding 
Of the Love we contain
