Solitude

I seek solitude
to gather my sensations
To listen to the voice
of my inner motivations

I seek solitude
to overcome my fears
To listen to the voice
that sooths all tears

I seek solitude
to carry my inner child
To listen to the voice
that loves her, whether quiet or wild

I seek solitude
to unravel what my heart conceals
To listen to the voice
that lifts all veils

I seek solitude
to enter my soul
To listen to the voice
that knows I’m whole
