Well known stranger

Spellbound by your energy
Barely holding on to my sanity
Finding refuge in my sanctuary
I am free from your duplicity

An entire civilisation
Drawn by your graceful gravitation
Holding each under your charm
You harvest and unarm

I need to pull away
To not be under your sway
Breaking free from this affliction
Breaking away from this addiction

As your attraction
Conquers the world
I watch and wonder
Who is the stronger?

I say farewell to you
You well known stranger
There's no more spell 
 For you to sell
