As I dance…

As I dance my dance 
And rejoin my heart 
I reach beyond 
Waiting for the Universe to respond 

Emptiness enters 
As I receive nothing 
Staying present 
I feel my brokenness within 

Joining together 
Every part of my body 
My soul 
Aligns my tears 
My presence 
Embraces my fears 

I move and move and move 
Until all falls away 
Joy emerges 
As I twirl and sway 

Moving deep within my waters 
Love can no longer hide 
Hearing my song of healing 
From within the tide 
 
I respond to the Universe 
She heeds my call 
Turning the cards 
Into her presence I fall 

Dancing her grace 
I feel her embrace 
Holding me close 
As I embody 
The life I chose
